How the tool works
Type your page title and a subtitle, pick a style or your own colours and upload your logo, and the tool draws a 1200×630 image you see instantly. Turn on the safe area to check the title will not be cropped, then download a PNG or a lighter JPG and copy the HTML tags once you add the URL of the image uploaded to your site.
What is an OG image and why does it matter?
An OG (Open Graph) image is the picture shown in the link card when someone shares your page on WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn or X. A link that appears with a clear title and an eye-catching image gets clicked far more than a bare URL. It shapes your visitor's first impression before they even open the page.
Size and the safe area
The safest size is 1200×630 pixels at a 1.91:1 ratio. Some apps crop the image to a square or a shorter band, so turn on the safe-area option and make sure the title and logo sit inside the frame, with no important text near the edges.
- File size: under 300 KB makes it load faster on WhatsApp.
- Short text: a title of 40 to 60 characters stays readable on a small phone screen.
- High contrast between the text and the background, and a clear logo in the corner.
How to add the image to your site
Download the image and upload it to your site, then copy the tags from the bottom section and put them inside the page's head element. If you use WordPress or a hosted store, use the “share image” field of your SEO plugin instead of editing code. After publishing, test the URL with Facebook's sharing debugger to refresh the cache, because platforms keep the old version.
Mistakes that stop the image showing
- The image URL is relative or does not start with https.
- The image is too small (under 200 pixels) so the platform rejects it.
- The site blocks crawlers in robots.txt or requires a login.
- A stale cache on the platform: refresh it from its developer tools.
Frequently asked questions
What is the ideal share image size?
1200×630 pixels at a 1.91:1 ratio, with a file under 300 KB so it loads quickly.
Why does the image not show when I share?
Usually the URL is relative, the image is too small, the og:image tag is missing or the platform cache is stale. Use the sharing debugger to refresh it.
Does it support Arabic?
Yes. The tool detects Arabic text, draws it right to left and places the logo in the matching corner.
Are my image or logo uploaded to a server?
No. The image is drawn in your browser and your logo never leaves your device.
Do I need an image for every page?
Ideally a dedicated image for key pages (home, articles, services) and a general one for the rest.
