The challenge
Kafo Team wanted to put free books in front of Arabic readers and build a reading community around them. That meant a fast, right-to-left site where anyone can find a book, read it without installing anything, and share what they took from it.
What we built
We built the library as a Laravel and Inertia web app. Books are grouped into ten knowledge categories with search by title or author and a featured carousel. Each book opens in an in-browser reader with page thumbnails, bookmarks, an index, night mode and a focus mode. A separate viewer shows the Quran as a two-page spread, and signed-in readers can rate books and share summaries.
